Gitigaan
Building Tribal Cannabis Infrastructure
The Gitigaan cultivation and processing project represents an important investment in tribal cannabis infrastructure in northern Wisconsin. McCormick’s team joined during the construction phase to execute contracted construction scopes — site work, concrete, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, headhouse construction, and carpentry — and coordinate technical interfaces within a delivery structure established before its involvement.
Redbud Roots
Three Facilities. Three Contracts. One Continuing Relationship.
Between 2017 and 2020, McCormick CEA Solutions partnered with Redbud Roots to deliver three separate commercial cannabis facilities in Buchanan, Michigan. What began as a 10,000-square-foot cultivation project evolved into a continuing relationship spanning three independently contracted developments totaling approximately 51,000 square feet.
Fawn River
Integrating Cultivation, Processing, and Retail Through Specialized Design
Fawn River was developing a privately financed commercial cannabis cultivation and processing operation in Michigan. With substantial design work already completed and construction beginning, the ownership team engaged McCormick CEA Solutions to provide specialized technical expertise. Unlike projects where McCormick served as the general contractor, its role at Fawn River focused on cultivation infrastructure, technical systems integration, processing facility design, and operational readiness.
Bloom Medicinals
From Budget Misalignment to Three Turnkey Facilities
Bloom Medicinals had invested considerable time and resources in developing plans for its Missouri cultivation and processing operation. However, as the project approached construction, a significant disconnect emerged between the proposed facility design and the capital available to execute it. McCormick CEA Solutions was engaged to develop a practical design-build solution that aligned the facility’s technical requirements, production objectives, and construction budget.
